Alternative Payment Methods
In light of the global effects of COVID-19 and for any future issues that may result in the closing of our office to the public, we have outline several methods of alternative payment that involve less social interaction, and, therefore, less risk of further spreading of COVID-19. In person payments and even payments by mail include greater risks than our online and phone payment options. Please note that if our office is closed to the employees for any reason, the only viable and reliable payment option is the Online payment method.
Online
Payments may be made any time online at http://mchugheslawpayment.com/. You must enter your file number to make your payment. If you do not know your file number, please call our office at (501) 376-9131 to request it. You must enter http://mchugheslawpayment.com/ into the address bar of your browser. (You may not reach our website if you enter information into a search engine such as Google.)
By Phone (If The Firm Remains Open For Employees):
You may call (501) 376-9131 and tell the receptionist you wish to make a payment. To have someone else make a payment for you, you must give verbal or written permission to the McHughes Law Firm, PLLC that the designated person has your permission to obtain your account information. Such permission will continue until you revoke that permission. All calls are recorded. You or your designee must provide your name and last four digits of your social security number as minimum assurance that we are speaking with someone who has permission to obtain your account information. You MUST have a valid debit card, credit card, or bank account with a bank routing number and a bank account number.
By Mail (If The Firm Remains Open For Employees):
If the above options are unavailable to you, you may still make your payment by Mail with check or money order to The McHughes Law Firm, PLLC, P.O. Box 7599, Little Rock, Arkansas 72217, and adding your file number above to the memo section of the check or money order. It is your responsibility to see that any mailing arrives in time to the McHughes Law Firm for posting by your due date. If there is any concern whether payment will arrive in time, please consider another payment method.
